September sees the exciting appointment of three key positions here at PLM Global. The three new recruits – all external candidates taking up brand new positions – are fulfilling customer-focused roles within our operation, strengthening our support base as the company continues to grow.
Firstly, Rob Alcock joins us as Solutions Director. Rob brings 30 years of experience with him, all within auto ID and industrial printer sales and solutions, latterly for Honeywell. When asked about his appointment, he explained:
“This is the industry I know and love. Whilst I will enjoy solving new technical challenges, I’m also looking forward to working with such a dynamic team”
The new Sales Administrator role is to be filled by Tracey Manners. Whilst previous roles within other companies (including PC KnowHow) over the last 20 years have allowed her to hone her administration skills, she also brings specific experience in equipment repair -a vital component in our PLM Global offering. Tracey told us:
“I’m very excited to be joining PLM Global. From the outset I could see their passion for what they do and a belief that good customer service is essential to their success”
The last of the new positions – Accounts Director – will be taken by Lewis Heppell. Another seasoned professional, Lewis comes to us from Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions. He has an impressive track record with a vast amount of product knowledge and service delivery experience, amassed in his 20 years within the industry. Asked about what he most looked forward to he said:
“What attracted me most was being part of the senior Management team in an organisation where every individual employee and their input is valued. It’s not always guaranteed that your experience is respected when you join a large company.”
At a time when many in the industry and service sectors seem to be hitting the pause button on major growth decisions, we’re very proud to be able to make this valuable and important investment in the future of our company.
The area we have focused on with these appointments reflects our insight into what is important for our customer base, knowledge which comes from the 50 years of shared industry experience we are fortunate to have within our senior Management team. It ensures that our growth is built upon strong foundations and recognises our commitment to maintain the highest possible levels of Customer Service.
All three new recruits have been warmly welcomed by Shane Watson, Sales Director of PLM Global who announced:
